When I was donating blood today you have to fill our a questionnaire about if you have ever been out of the country in the past three years and the nurse asked me where I was.  I was telling her about my cruise to the Bahamas and going horse back riding on the beach.  On a cold day like today I wish I was there!

I love green eyes, especially Sebastian's eyes and in this photo I love how they have little bit of  the reflection of the TV or another light reflecting off of them.

30 Day Photo Challange - Day 13 - Photo Edit You Like

A lot of times I use photo shop to tweak some of the photos I use when I have an exhibit coming up.  Sometimes its just a simple edit like levels or curves to even out the tone.  Other times I like to use other photo edits such as:

Clone tool/ patch tool

 

 

I took this pic in Martha's Vineyard & liked just the four boats & used the clone tool and patch tool to get rid of the back boat and some of the extra rope.

I took this pic on a hike in Speculator, NY and wanted brighten it up a bit because the original was hazy and muted.



30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 12 - Same Shot Different Light

This is the same shot as yesterday but in sepia tone.  I actually like the tone and texture of the trees in this shot versus the black and white.  Makes me want to take more sepia toned photos.

I had taken this picture a few years ago at one of my old jobs.  I remember walking into the office one day & as I approached my desk & looked on the floor I noticed how the way the papers were stacked on my desk created this face in the shadows on the floor & the garbage can created the neck of the face.

Since its whatever I want today of course I'm going to have a picture of Sebastian the best cat ever! lol  For Christmas I got an electric blanket (best gift ever) in white so I never see cat hair too.  Sebastian loves it & its so cute because he blends in with the blanket.  Its cat camouflage!

One of my favorite places to be is Disney World especially Epcot World Showcase where they have the different countries each with their own restaurant featuring that country's food.   This is a photo of Epcot Morocco (that is based on 3 cities) where the real Morocco paid for it to be built so it would be done right!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 1 & 2

Day 1 is a picture of yourself & Day 2 is what I wore today so I decided to combine the days together.  Today I had to work so here is my typical work uniform.  I normally don't wear yellow pants but I found them for $10 at Old Navy since our color are blue & yellow.  I'm really dedicated aren't I lol !

 

 

New Year New Challenge

Happy New Year!   My friend Jack McKenzie tagged me in a post on FB about a 30 day photo challenge & I accepted the challenge since I was looking for something new to do with my photography anyway!     I will be posting on here & on my take a picture blog since it ties in with that as well! 

 

So far I haven't have any new shows lined up, the end of the year snuck up on me & I haven't inquired about anything yet, but I will keep you posted when that changes.  I will also try to put add more of my photographs on my Fine Art America and zazzle sites and keep you posted on that as well!
